As one door opens, another door opens...

Ah, Spring half-term...and as our students busy themselves silly (honestly, they're beavering away right now, promise...), let us - Art and photography teachers everywhere - afford ourselves a moment to relax and recharge. And how better than plugging into a little Photopedagogy warmth, delivered here, direct to your inbox...

Dipped a toe over our Threshold Concepts yet? Following our centrefold in NSEAD's AD Magazine we've been developing a series of lessons - a real labour of love - wrestling big ideas yet aiming to provide practical suggestions and starting points.  With four down and six to go, we hope they'll prove as useful as they are challenging. For us, each threshold concept seems to open up new doorways; we'd love to hear where they might be taking you.

In the meantime - and with forthcoming controlled assessments in mind - here are a few picks from this half-term...
