Access NI Enhanced Checks
 
Carrickfergus Community Forum is a registered Umbrella Body with Access NI. This means that we submit enhanced criminal record checks for community organisations in Carrickfergus. Access NI authorises umbrella bodies to provide these services to organisations.

Carrickfergus Photographic Society are running an exhibition in the Civic Centre for 2 weeks from 2nd December. The display is in the mall.

It is a free event and there are  a variety of prints on display.

Communities to apply for £1,000 National Lottery funding

 
Thousands of grants are available to anyone in Northern Ireland with a great
idea to make a difference in their local community through the National Lottery
#CelebrateNationalLottery25 fund.

Good Things Foundation: Make It Click

Funded by Google.org, this aims to support 30,000 'limited users' to improve their work based digital skills and become more confident, capable users of the internet.  Three contract sizes available,  £1,250 to support 31 learners, £2,500 to support 63 learners and £5,000 to support 125 learners.

The Pilgrim Trust

Aims to preserve and promote Britain’s historical and intellectual assets and to provide assistance to vulnerable members of society.  Support projects where their funds will make the greatest impact and interested in projects where charities are having difficulty in raising funds from other sources.

The National Lottery Community Fund: 25th Anniversary Funding

Small grants from £100 to £1,000 for event, activity, or item costs, that will bring people together between 1 February and the end of 2020 - extended from original date to enable applicants to run Christmas 2020 events.  (Unconstituted groups can also apply.)

Arts Council NI: Musical Instruments for Professional and non-Professional Performing Groups

Grants of up to £30,000 to increase the quality of music-making in the community by helping eligible groups purchase new instruments.  All applicants must provide partnership funding.  This must be 25% in cash from non-Arts Council sources.
