2. Community News

As of today we have made a few changes in The Healthcentre Pharmacy.

At the moment we are experiencing a really busy time in the pharmacy and we need to take care of our staff and our community.

We need to social distance by staying 2m apart in social situations. We are asking our customers to respect each other by queuing in an organised manner and have installed a system which allows 2-3 people into the main waiting area of the pharmacy at a time.

We are receiving your repeat prescriptions from the surgeries and working through them as quickly as we can. We would ask that you leave 72 hours between ordering and collecting your repeat medicine. This will hopefully mean that you don't have to wait when you come to collect it. If you do have to wait for a longer period our staff will ask you to wait outside or in your car and we can phone or text you when your medicines are ready.

We ask that you socially distance yourself from our pharmacy team to protect them so that they can continue to protect you by supplying essential medicines.

We ask for your patience and your support.

It is so important that we protect our community, especially older friends and relatives and those in at risk groups.

Please help us to "flatten the curve"

Jonathan Lloyd.
