Carrickfergus Community Forum is a registered Umbrella Body with Access NI. This means that we submit enhanced criminal record checks for community organisations in Carrickfergus. Access NI authorises umbrella bodies to provide these services to organisations.

Our WISE (Women Interacting, Sharing & Engaging) group are running a community art project in Ownies Bar Bistro next Saturday which is free for everyone to attend and will make a great family morning activity - no skill level required! 🎨

Please come along and show your support - you will be contributing to a community art piece which will be revealed at a later date!

The Pilgrim Trust

Aims to preserve and promote Britain’s historical and intellectual assets and to provide assistance to vulnerable members of society.  They do this by supporting projects where their funds will make the greatest impact and are also interested in projects where charities are having difficulty in raising funds from other sources.

Arts Council NI: Creative Industries Seed Fund

Designed to encourage Cross-Sectoral Collaboration, drive innovation in technologies and create new content, products, services and experiences, this fund aims to assist entrepreneurs, businesses, or organisations to undertake projects that contribute to the growth of the creative industries and unlock future income generation.  100% grants are available to cover costs of between £500 and £10,000 for a project.

Deadline for applications: Monday 27th January 2020 at 4pm

Good Things Foundation: Make It Click

The Make It Click programme is funded by, and aims to support 30,000 'limited users' to improve their work based digital skills and become more confident, capable internet users. Three contract sizes available -  £1,250 to support 31 learners, £2,500 to support 63 learners and £5,000 to support 125 learners.

The Will Charitable Trust provides funding to charities operating in the fields of Blindness; Learning Disabilities; and Cancer.

G&H Roberts Community Trust

A very small family trust that funds small community projects that support the advancement of education, community development, human rights, environmental protection, conflict resolution and reconciliation.  Distributes around £12000 per annum. Usually awards are between £250 - £2,000.
