Were you intrigued by the recent President's Speaker Series presentation by Claire Wardell? Delta Library’s Misinformation and the Media eLearning course introduces students to misinformation, disinformation and how it relates to the media, providing tips on how to be responsible social media users and where to find high-quality news sources. The course is available as a self-enrolled course or as an in-person lecture. Contact the library with questions. The Misinformation and the Media Research Guide is also a great starting point for this topic.
Do your students need a quiet, connected space to take tests and quizzes for your course using the Respondus Lockdown Browser? The browser is installed on all computers in the open lab in the Library.

Group Study Rooms

The Library now has three group study rooms available for students to reserve. The reservation link is available in the Contact Us box on the library website. The rooms are located at the back of the library. Students can use the rooms for group work, to participate in an online class (personal laptop needed), practice a presentation, attend a virtual job interview, etc. Please help spread the word about the availability of these rooms!

What are Students doing in the Library?

Data from this semester reveals that study spaces are slightly more popular than computers! Students use the library for study space. The world can be unpredictable for our students, but investing in the college library as a campus space can provide some consistency.
