Dear Friends, Colleagues and Partners,

April has been a successful month for DRM. Our  General Assembly held on April 5-6 in Germany was a rich and positive event. Updates on key markets like India, elections and good news from some new markets like Zambia, as well as a very successful visit to Nuremberg lifted the spirits of all the participants. The first DRM workshop for Europe completed the annual get together on the 7th .

The interest of the automotive industry in DRM spurned by the India roll out, the excellent demonstrations of the full software defined radio and so much more brought new elements and excellent substance to the three-day DRM events.

Please scroll down to find more about all this. If you want to tell us about you and you want your company to feature in the next Newsletter can tell you how!

DRM is the choice for Zambia, according to Mr Eustace Nkandu, Director at the Independent Broadcasting Authority of this country who stressed that: “Zambia wants to commence the process of digital migration for radio and the position is that DRM is the most favoured digital sound system.”

The regulatory body in Zambia has been asked to spearhead the country’s digital migration for radio.
