Dear Friends, Colleagues and Partners,

After the successful General Assembly and European workshop held in April in Germany, DRM has continued to make positive news. And the best news comes from India with the rollout of DRM nearing completion, as you will see below.

The DRM members attended NAB in Las Vegas and the DRM presentation at Radio Asia was well received with DRM being mentioned by the AIR Director General . The interest of the American coastguard in some of the DRM benefits and our own submission to the American regulator on the clear advantages of DRM in medium wave are all detailed below.

With the announcement from Fraunhofer IIS and Parrot France on full digital software solutions we have also taken a more detailed look at the software defined radio solution for both DRM modes (DRM30 and DRM+) and tried to unpick some of its exciting possibilities for receiver manufacturers.

Please scroll down to find more about all this. If you have exciting news about you and you want your company to feature in the next Newsletter Projectoffice@drm.org can tell you how!

Finally, Please do not forget to join us on Twitter, YouTube and Flickr.
