March 2016

Dear Friends, Colleagues and Partners,

March finds the DRM London office abuzz with preparations for our General Assembly which to be held on April 5th and 6th in Germany. A DRM European workshop will complete our annual get together on the 7th. This will be a time to review and celebrate the recent DRM activity and address some of the many challenges DRM faces. Only recently we welcomed the creation of DRM+ software for cars, which was demonstrated to decision makers in India who are introducing their first traffic system. This key capability of DRM, to deliver traffic information will also be part of an important ASEAN event organised in Vietnam on March 21-22.

The many successes of the last year, not least in Asia, figured in the successful DRM workshop held during the ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium in Kuala Lumpur. The latest news on the Indian roll-out was also highlighted.

Our contribution to the digital debate and decision making process were also part of the SADC event organised by the 15-country co-operative organisation in Lesotho this week.
