77% of Californians say WaterFix is important for state’s future
In the latest poll from the Public Policy Institute of California, residents were asked how important WaterFix is to the future quality of life and economic vitality of California.
Fifty-one percent responded that the project is very important and 26 percent consider it somewhat important.
Californians know that improving the reliability of water supplies is critical for the state’s future. It’s not surprising considering Delta water contributes $400 billion to the state’s economy. WaterFix is a long-term solution that will protect a vital water supply for millions of people and thousands of businesses.
