Bruce Langford: Taking Control Over The Mind and Living in The Moment

As the philosopher Lao Tzu said, “If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present.” We allow ourselves to dwell in the past and worry about the future more often throughout the day than most of us are even aware of. The mind is a busy place, and that voice that every single one of us has in our heads, causes confusion, unhappiness, depression and anxiety – all because we are not aware of it, and are being controlled by it

How to Turn any Traumatic Experience Around and Why You Should

I lost my dad when I was 3 years old (yeah, talk about a good start in life), and while what I am about to say might sound weird at first to some, once you get where I am coming from, and see it from my way of looking at it, you will understand why I am saying it. I am grateful that I lost him

The 4 Most Powerful Resources that can Change your Life

There are 4 resources out there in the world – accessible to everyone for a ridiculously small amount of money – which if combined and used properly, are the most powerful tools available. They enable you to create and make your dreams a reality, while allowing you to become that person – that better, more complete, more fulfilled person you would love to be. Yet despite being out there and easily accessible, not everyone seems to be aware of them, or perhaps it’s more realistic to say – not everyone seems to be aware of the power they contain.

Inspiring Movies that Will Make You Want to Travel

I enjoy a good movie every now and then- who doesn’t right? Especially one that can awaken emotions and feelings inside me. I’ve put together a list of movies related to traveling that I’ve watched and I feel are definitely worth seeing. The Five – Minute Journal is a beautiful book that will help you to feel grateful for what you have and as a result will increase your happiness. Every morning you write down 3 things you are grateful for, 3 things which will make that day great and 1 affirmation about yourself. Then before you go to sleep, you write 3 amazing things that happened in the day and 1 thing that could have made the day even better. It’s simple and takes no more than 5 minutes. It will help you stand still every day and take the time to reflect and inhale gratitude for your life. It has had a tremendous effect on my life already and I very much encourage anyone to buy it.

With TripAdvisor you can read the opinions and see the ratings that other travellers have given about travel-related content. Restaurants, hotels, attractions etc etc. I use it all the time when I am in another country to find a good place to eat. It’s a wonderful mobile app to have with you wherever you go.

Quote of The Month

“Traveling solo is an incredible – life changing – journey, which I can recommend anyone to undertake. It’s the fear of being alone that prevents many people from daring to take the step to go on that journey. But as with many things, within that fear you’ll discover the greatest triumphs.”
