Bike maintenance event

Come along to our bike maintenance event on December 4th from 12 – 2 at Hendra Hall (TR1 3TP).  We welcome anyone who would like to learn the basics of M checking, lubricating and generally giving your bike a bit of TLC, but also those more experienced riders who can share their tips and techniques.  Or just turn up for a bit of a bike chat with a cuppa.  There will also be tables available for a bike bits swap shop. You won’t want to miss Dave’s unforgettable puncture demonstration – so pop the date in your diary now.

Stocking fillers

We now have TCC caps and neck warmers for you to order.  Delivery should be in time for Christmas.  These match the rest of the TCC kit and are good quality.  Caps £11 and neck warmer £8.  Stocks are limited, so please order from Alex as soon as possible.

We also have bidons and socks in stock – drop Alex a message to arrange collection.

We hope to open our Santini kit shop in early 2022.  In the meantime TCC members can have 20% discount for the next 6 months for other (non TCC branded) items on the Santini website using our discount code TRUROSMS

Festive Rides

James has planned a Very Christmas TCC Ride to the Heron Inn on 15th December.  Assemble on Lemon Quay at 7.30 pm.  All welcome.  Feel free to festoon your bikes and yourselves with fairy lights, tinsel etc.
We’re hoping for a strong TCC turnout on Penzance Wheelers’ Christmas Cracker 10 mile Time Trial on 19th December.  Sign on from 9 – 9.45 at Tresillian Village Hall.  £5 entry includes coffee and a mince pie.  There will be prizes for the best dressed Santa rider and Xmas jumper rider.

Cornwall Council is asking for your opinion on transport

“Please complete our short survey to give your views on the draft Cornwall Transport Plan. This survey will close on 24/12/2021

We have refreshed Cornwall's Transport Plan and want to know what you think. We want to know if you think the policies we have developed go far enough to deliver our vision of:

Transport in Cornwall will strive to be excellent and carbon neutral. Our transport system will connect people, communities, businesses and services in a way that enhances quality of life, is reliable, efficient, safe, healthy and inclusive. People will choose to travel in ways that will have a low impact upon the environment and other people.”
