Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
As our hearts grieve and we pray for the families and communities in 4 presbyteries impacted by the catastrophic recent tornadoes, a concrete way to provide aid is through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. Checks can be sent to PC(USA) at P. O. Box 643700, Pittsburgh PA 15264-3700. Please specify PDA – tornado relief. An alternative is to call 800-872-2383. (Contributions to Christmas Joy offering will also be accepted at this number.)
Introducing our new Administrative Assistant
My name is Kennedy and I am so excited to be part of First Presbyterian! I moved to Ashland in 2018 and resided in Greenwich before that. I graduated from South Central High School in 2018, and recently started attending esthetician school. I enjoy spending my time outdoors, hanging out with my family, doing skincare and spending time with my "fur baby" named Bear. I'm so excited to meet all of you!
Christmas Joy Offering
Church workers and their families experiencing financial crises are benefitted by this Advent offering, as well as students of color in Presbyterian-connected schools and colleges. Prayerfully consider these needs as you learn more from bulletin inserts and mission moments in the weeks ahead. Special offering envelopes will be found in the pews.
Warm and Fuzzy Tree
Your additions of warm mittens, hats, and scarves to the special tree in the narthex will go to Associated Charities for children in our community who are in need of these winter necessities. (If necessary, you may drop off in the church office, or contact Lana Potter for pick-up if you wish.)
