Fabric Pens Rulers Mini Irons
Abandoned 2 is Tim Holtz’s second collection of digital prints and it promises to be just as popular as the first.
Tim’s signature style is retro graphics blended with multi-layered textural prints and these latest designs don’t disappoint. Tim’s attention to detail mean that these designs work on both a large and small scale offering lots of design potential
Fabrics are available by the metre or we have a Fat Quarter bundle of all ten prints. We also have this fabulously different quilt design below, available as a kit. Curious by Nature has a finished size of 62" square and uses fabrics from Abandoned 2 and Tim’s first digital collection, Abandoned. The kit includes all the fabrics for the quilt top and binding plus instructions. Twelve pages of full-size paper templates are included for the various patch shapes so be prepared for some assembly before you start cutting out!
We don’t stock the fabric for the binding used in the original quilt so we have substituted with a Grunge in Onyx. This distressed design works perfectly with Abandoned. In fact Grunge is a perfect blender to use with Abandoned and we have a wide selection available by the metre and in Junior Jell Roll (20 colours) formats.
We aim to keep Abandoned 2 and the original Abandoned (below) in stock for at least the next year so if you do find that the fabric you want is out of stock please keep checking back, more is on the way.
Pizzazz is our fourth collection from Sue Penn and her vibrant, painterly style has been a big hit every time. The quilt kit from her last collection, Light in the Forest, sold out in a matter of days. Like her previous collections, this is not big, just nine prints, but it makes an impact just the same.
The star of the show is this extravagant peacock panel. At 45" (114cm) wide it’s a big design featuring two peacocks, one a mirror-image of the other. Smaller scale peacocks feature in another design (above top) with the remaining prints comprising abstract geometrics and florals in beautifully vivid colours.
The designs are so faithfully reproduced on these digital prints that the paint looks as if it’s still fresh as shown on this diamond “stripe”, below. All fabrics are available by the metre.
If you pre-ordered one of these Pizzazz quilt kits then it will be with you shortly if you haven’t already received it. It’s not too late if you would like to make one of these spectacular quilts as we have a number of both kits in stock now.
Show me the Honey is a new fabric range by Janice Gaynor for Blank Textiles. Honey yellows are contrasted with charcoal greys and black in this sweet and stylish collection that celebrates that most essential of key workers, the bee.
We have seven prints available by the metre plus a 24" (60cm) panel print featuring 8 different block, each measuring just under 10" (25cm) square. The seven prints are also available as a Fat Quarter bundle.
We have five new felt kits from Corinne Lapierre this week including the large Hummingbird Applique Hoop Kit and the Vintage Teddy shown above. The other new kits are Marcel the Sailor Bear, Mrs Cat Knitting and Little Miss Mouse.
You can see all our felt kits here.
Also in this week are new felt bundles. The redesigned Animal Families Felt Bundle to accompany Corrine's book is shown in the left and we have two new Sizzix acrylic felt bundles including the Christmas Bundle shown on the right.

You can see all Corrine's books, felt bundles and felts here.
Launched last week, our Migration Fat Quarter bundle proved to be a big hit and has now been restocked. We have just added this Migration Medallion quilt kit, below, to the range. Using 9 of the Migration fabrics, it is simple to construct and suitable for a confidant beginner. The finished quilt measures approximately 52" square.
Our kit contains all the fabrics needed to complete the quilt top and binding (backing not included) plus instructions. So, if you know a budding patchworker who is a wildlife lover too, this could be the inspiration they need!

Fall in love with boro & sashiko stitching

Last, but most definitely not least, we are just unpacking these beautiful designs from Edyta Sitar. Pretty floral prints mixed with small-scale coordinates in a palette of gorgeous, soft pastel tones, what is there not to like!

We have the full collection of 36 prints available by the metre. Pre-cuts to follow just as soon as we can cut them!
