Another round of funding was announced by the Chancellor in his budget speech of 3rd March. Applications are being administered by Local Authorities and practices vary between them.

Here is our briefing note that will help you work out if you can apply, and for what.

There are two basic types; The rates-related LRSG and the discretionary ARG. Have a read of our note, and let us know if we can assist you in making the applications.

Remember different Authorities have different rules, so you'll have to check your LA website for detailed information. For example:

In Plymouth, applications for LRSG open on 12 April, with ARG applications open on 26 April.
In Cornwall, LRSG will be paid automatically to any business that has previously been given an LRSG, but there are no details on applications for the ARG (yet).
West Oxfordshire DC are asking businesses to provide additional certification before paying out the next LRSG.
Liverpool City Council are asking for all businesses to make an application for periods after 31 March 2021.

How do we know this? We have clients in each of those LA areas! If you'd like our help, get in touch and let us know which LA you are in.
