In these trying times, anything that puts cash in the bank is welcome, especially if that cash is tax free!
 
If you own a freehold property, including a furnished holiday let (but excluding other residential property), you could generate a tax refund of around 11% of the cost.
 
If you’ve overcome any technical or procedural challenges within the past two years, you may be eligible for a cash refund of 14% of your spend. In certain circumstances, you could get a tax refund of up to 43%! (This applies to companies only).
