Scholarship Applications Due 3/30
The Calvert County Farm Bureau is offering college scholarships for high school seniors and college students.
The deadline for the 2017-2018 scholarship is March 30, 2017. Applicants, or their family members, must be Farm Bureau members to qualify. Applicants, please complete the following documents:

The Calvert County Farm Bureau started the year off with new leadership. Special thanks to retiring board members for their years of service: Outgoing president, Susie Hance-Wells, long-time board member and former president, Tommy Briscoe, and long-time board member and former president, Walt Wells.

Calvert County Farm Bureau Wins Silver Bowl Award
The Calvert County Farm Bureau was honored with the Silver Bowl Award at the Maryland Farm Bureau Annual Banquet in December 2016. Susie Hance Wells accepted the award on behalf of the organization in recognition for the leadership in the Outstanding Program category. The Calvert County Farm Bureau took a lead role in planning and organizing a Young Farmer Leadership Workshop, held last spring at the College of Southern Maryland in Prince Frederick. The event was attended by more than 50 young farmers from Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Prince George's and St. Mary's Counties.
