Vote on March 8!
The ballot on Tuesday, March 8 isn't just for presidential primaries. Voters in Washtenaw County will weigh in on a countywide tax proposal
to renew a millage for local emergency communications. And if you live in Pittsfield Township, you'll also vote on a 10-year renewal of a parks millage. Click here to read the ballot proposals

Connecting with Neighborhoods
In northeast Ann Arbor, the Orchard Hills-Maplewood Homeowners Association – one of the largest neighborhood groups in Ann Arbor – is building community in many ways. At their February meeting, OHMHA board members discussed plans for an April 17 community forum, their June annual meeting, projects at the Thurston Nature Center and more. We applaud the work of neighborhood volunteers who are making Ann Arbor a more informed, engaged community!

Have you checked out the online Volunteer Center, hosted by the United Way of Washtenaw County? It's a great way find volunteer opportunities that match your interests and availability. CivCity is one of many organizations that use the site to seek volunteers – we recently joined, and will be posting more ways for volunteers to help promote civic engagement in the coming months. Thanks to United Way for this community resource!
