Farmers' Market Opening Soon
The Albany Farmers' Market is coming to life! Grab your reusable shopping bags and head on down to 4th and Ellsworth in Downtown Albany. There's sure to be plenty of gorgeous spring bouquets and fabulous greens. Open Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., April 15th through November 22nd. Telephone 541-740-1542 for more information. Join Us for History Bites
Cars have certainly changed over the years! Take your lunch break, Wednesday, April 12th at noon, and hear about the auto industry of Albany from storyteller Tom Cutsforth, fourth generation family auto dealership. Vintage photos will be part of the presentation at the Albany Regional Museum. You're welcome to bring your brown bag lunch - light refreshments are also provided. Procession of the Species

Calling all parade entrants! Celebrate Earth Day by signing up for the Procession of the Species Parade. Think of your favorite animal, creepy crawly insect, wiggle-waggle fish, picturesque plant or most colorful bird. Create a costume and come join the celebration of one another and our natural world. Assemble at 9:30 a.m. at the Albany Farmers' Market, 4th Ave. and Broadalbin. Learn more about this event organized by the City of Albany.

Easter egg hunters welcomed in Albany

Albany Relay For Life Team INSPIRE has been hosting this Community Easter Egg Hunt for the last eight years. What's special about the event is that ALL money raised goes to the American Cancer Society. The event will be scaled back just a bit this year, as the City will no longer be involved. However, the organizers are committed to making this a fun event for all ages. Where: Monteith Park, Cost: $5.00. When: registration will begin at 10:00 a.m., egg hunt will begin at 11:00 a.m. You can also visit the event Facebook page.
