Proposed Plan
Since the completion of the Main Issues Report consultation period, the team has been preparing the Proposed Local Development Plan. Using feedback received from a range of stakeholders during the consultation, we have shaped the Proposed Plan for its period of representation in public. The Proposed Plan is to be considered at the meeting of the Full Council on Monday 2nd March 2020; agenda and papers are normally released by Committee Services ahead of the meeting, online.

Details of the public consultation period for the Proposed Plan will therefore be announced in due course.
Timetable and Next Steps

Aberdeen City Council has to produce a Development Plan Scheme every year. This document sets out the programme for preparing and reviewing the Local Development Plan, and what is likely to be involved at each stage. The Development Plan Scheme for 2020 is being prepared and will be uploaded in due course - the current Scheme can be viewed here. 
Aberdeen City and Shire Strategic Development Plan
The Proposed Strategic Development Plan for Aberdeen City and Shire completed its period of Examination on 21st January 2020.  The suite of documents and Report of Examination can be viewed on the SDPA website. The Report of Examination now sits with Scottish Ministers for consideration.
Aberdeen City and Shire Housing Land Audit 2020
Preparation for this year's Housing Land Audit report is now underway. The Housing Land Audit is an annual report prepared jointly by Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils and gives an overview of housing stock in the area such as; housing site completions for the year past, forecasted completions for years ahead, and information on completed sites and constrained sites. We will be issuing the annual Housebuilders' Survey during the first week of February - the first step in information-gathering for the Audit.
