The Honey Bee Health Coalition is made up of more than 40 organizations, businesses, and nonprofits and includes many leading experts on pollinator health issues. That’s why it is no surprise that Coalition members will be delivering key presentations throughout the 2017 North American Beekeeping Conference in Galveston, Texas.
In addition to these speaking roles and sessions — see below for a full listing — the Coalition also will have a booth at the tradeshow from noon on Wednesday, Jan. 11, through 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13. Come visit us at table No. 25 and help us discuss the Coalition’s work with beekeepers.

Varroa Videos & Guide Update
The Coalition’s Tool for Varroa Management Guide has helped beekeepers utilize best practices for detecting, monitoring, and confronting parasite infestations. The Coalition has updated its wildly popular guide, which continues to be downloaded and used by thousands of beekeepers. Check out the fifth edition by visiting http://honeybeehealthcoalition.org/varroa
In an effort to make the Tool for Varroa Management Guide even easier to use, the Coalition produced a series of videos
to demonstrate integrated pest management and the methods described in the guide. The videos, which can be found alongside the guide on the Coalition’s website, provide practical demonstrations of how to measure Varroa mite infestations in their hives and select appropriate control methods.
The Coalition also has developed an integrated pest monitoring spreadsheet
to help beekeepers implement the strategies discussed in the guide and video.
