What do you do when you yearn for God, but find that you cannot participate fully, when there is no real teacher? Today there are many who seek to find God, but don’t know how to do so.
This week we continue in Sunday worship to go through the Book of the Acts of the Apostles, where we come to a story where the apostle Paul and his companion Silas arrive in the city of Philippi where they encounter two women in need of the good news. By the work of the two apostles, these women find freedom in the faith that they receive.
This story is one where the freedom of faith is passed on through encountering the holy in unexpected places, and where all genders find a place fully their own.
As you go about your week, I invite you to ponder who in your life might be yearning for God, and how you might reach out in humbleness and caring.
Blessings and light, Renée
