Mark Bowles
Heavenly Skies, 2016
Acrylic on canvas
60 x 80 in

With a BFA from California College of the Arts, Mark Bowles’ magnificent abstract landscapes are in private and public collections worldwide, including the permanent collections of the Crocker Art Museum, Denver Art Museum, and the Tucson Museum of Art. In Bowles' words: “It is my goal to draw the viewer into my space and let them become involved in their own personal journey and discovery of the work. The ultimate reward for me is to communicate something new to the viewer even if for just a moment in time.”
Chameleon, 2016
Hand-blown glass
32 x 53 x 10 in

Glasstudio Borowski was founded in Poland in 1990 by Stanislaw Borowski. Using almost forgotten techniques for engraving on cameo glass, self-made tools and new art concepts, Borowski knew just what he wanted. His extraordinary whimsical glass sculptures soon received international acclaim and led to exhibitions in Germany, the Netherlands, Japan and the USA. His two sons, Pawel and Stani Jan, followed in their father’s footsteps as glass artists. Their work reflects the tradition begun with their father, a love of color as well as a playful approach to glass.
Chris Young
Forbidden Fruit
Oil on board
16 x 27 in

Chris Young grew up in the mountains of Utah where his exposure to the beautiful landscape fostered a love for drawing and painting; he received his BFA from Brigham Young University in 1986. Young’s highly detailed, impeccably crafted paintings create a calm, meditative feeling based on order and subtlety. His ultra-realistic paintings are actually abstractions created with an exquisite combination of light, detail and color which compel the viewer to look at the paintings again and again to consider the beauty of simple objects.
Jim Eppler
Raven VII D, 2016
Bronze, 16 of 50
13 x 21.5 x 9 in

Jim Eppler is an artist in the truest sense – he takes the world around us and recreates it for our participation. He has been praised for his lifelike creations and his gentle interpretations. It is Eppler’s respect and appreciation for nature that allow his art to flow so freely. Eppler graduated with a BFA in Studio Art from Texas Tech University. Never limiting his studies to the classroom, Eppler has always been a keen observer of nature.
