Deladier Almeida
Brackets and Cues, 2017
Oil on canvas
36 x 36 in

With a rich palette and luscious brushwork, Deladier Almeida infuses vitality into each of his subjects, which range from portraits to scenes of contemporary life to brilliantly observed landscapes. His images of Californiaʼs varied terrain, depicted from a birdʼs-eye view that Almeida achieves by flying over regions of the state in helicopters or small planes, are alive with texture and movement.
Talisman Sculpture Lime Tangerine, 2017
30 x 10 x 8 in

Gartner-Blade glass is the work of Stephen Gartner and Danielle Blade. Since 1995, they have combined their individual ideas, techniques, and experiences to create original works in handblown and sculpted glass. Their inspiration is rooted in nature and begins with their mutual fascination with the use of found objects in the rituals of primitive cultures. Over the past decade Gartner-Blade has been developing a series of pieces that convey a reverence for, and an understanding of, the value of our natural resources.
Alexander Sheversky
Acrylic and oil on canvas
48 x 40 in

Striking a harmonic balance between classical composition and modern disposition, an oil painting by Alexander Sheversky speaks to an appreciation for the vocation of contemporary realism.  Each canvas is stately and monumental, extolling the virtues of discipline and emotion styled by the foremost of his teachers - Rembrandt and Vermeer. The interplay of light and shadow bring a life to the painting that resonates and lives before the viewer.
Chengxiang Qi
Girl with Cat, 2013
Oil on canvas
30 x 24 in

Chengxiang Qi was born in 1952 in China. After graduating from the LuXun Academy of Fine Arts in 1977, he completed his master's degree at the prestigious Central Academy of Fine Art, Beijing, in 1997. While attending the Central Academy's research department, Qi mastered many different styles and techniques, exploring impressionism to realism. He settled into a style that reflects the influence of the Dutch School of Art and the virtuosity of the Italian Renaissance.
