Saturday, May 4 Election Information
Council Places 1, 3, and 5 and three Charter amendment propositions are on this ballot. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. tomorrow. Kennedale residents can vote at the Community Center in the Library (316 W 3rd Street).

The Parks & Recreation Board and Animal Services are proud to present "Bark in the Park and KIDFISH" at Sonora Park on Saturday, May 18. This free event features fishing, low-cost pet vaccinations (courtesy of TCAP), 🍧free snow cones🍧, and a chance to try local food trucks like Onpoint Texas BBQ and the Snack Shack.

Presented as part of the National Park Trust #KidstoParks Day. Pledge to participate!
Congratulations to Kennedale Community Theatre in the Park for their wonderful performances of "Seussical Jr." on April 26 and 27, in TownCenter Park.

April 27, 2019 National Drug Take Back Report
KPD recently participated in the DEA National Drug Take Back — a program that aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. Kennedale officers collected just over 30 pounds of unused or expired medication, and the DEA Dallas Field Division (North Texas and Oklahoma) collected more than 46,000 pounds in total. The next event is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2019.

CITY COUNCIL
The City Council holds regular meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. Special meetings are scheduled as needed.
