Saturday, May 4 Election Results
At the Saturday, May 4, 2019 Election, voters elected Josh Altom (Place 1), Sandra Lee (Place 3), and Chad Wandel (Place 5); and approved all three proposed Charter amendments. The June 8 Runoff Election has been CANCELED following a recount.
SAFETY REMINDER FROM KFD
Toddlers are often attracted to water without realizing how dangerous it can be. Learn how to protect them from water hazards both at home and on vacation.
Explore the Trinity Trails with the help of an interactive tour guide provided by the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD). The Trinity Trails app offers up-to-date information on amenities and events along the 70-plus mile trail network.
The City of Kennedale is partnering with Tarrant County’s Home Owner Rehabilitation Program, which offers funding assistance for certain repairs including roofing, foundation, plumbing, electrical, and weatherization. To be eligible, you must:
  • have an annual income below HUD established income limits;
  • have owned your home for more than one year;
  • have no more than two liens on the property; and
  • meet one of the following criteria:
    • be a person with a handicap or disability
    • be 62 years of age or older
    • family with dependent children (under 18) living at home.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend Council and board and commission meetings. Agendas are posted at least 72 hours beforehand online and in the foyer of City Hall (405 Municipal Drive, Kennedale).

CITY COUNCIL
The City Council holds regular meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. Special meetings are scheduled as needed.

Meetings are held at City Hall (405 Municipal Drive), unless otherwise noted. Sometimes it is necessary to reschedule meetings or other events. Please always check the calendar for the latest information.
