Most city offices, including City Hall and the Library, will be closed
Monday, February 18, in observance of Washington's Birthday (Presidents' Day).

In the case of an issue that needs immediate attention (e.g., water main break), please call non-emergency dispatch at 817-478-5416. This call may be answered as if you dialed 9-1-1. Please do not hang up. Emergency services will, of course, be available as usual. In the case of a life-threatening emergency, always dial 9-1-1.
DID YOU KNOW?  The City of Kennedale offers a reverse 9-1-1 notification system that allows officials to distribute alerts to residents about emergencies or other important community events.  Sign up today to receive critical information via voice, text, and/or email alerts in situations such as:
  • severe weather and evacuations
  • unexpected road closures or water service interruptions
  • missing persons (e.g., AMBER and Silver Alerts)
The creeks of Kennedale offer a tremendous opportunity to create a network of paths that connect neighborhoods to parks and schools, while also offering access to the beauty and function of the natural world.

The City of Kennedale was recently awarded technical assistance to protect and improve Village, Kennedale, and Winding Creeks through the National Park Service (NPS) Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance (RTCA) Program, which aims to help communities preserve important local resources, protect waterways, develop trails and greenways, and create new natural areas.

This year-long project will be locally-led with support from RTCA staff who will work with community stakeholders to discuss potential strategies for protecting and improving the creeks and for creating pathways for pedestrian and bicycle access along the creek corridors. Residents are invited to participate as we explore potential improvements, priorities, conceptual designs, and funding sources.  For more information about how you can be involved, contact Director of Planning and Economic Development Melissa Dailey, AICP, 817-985-2135 or
