Navanti has released a new infographic displaying price data for essential fuels in Somalia's three largest port cities. The data was collected by in-country researchers over a nine-month period in 2019.

Navanti researchers say that an oligarchy of businessmen controls the fuel trade in Mogadishu, Bosaso, and Kismayo, which explains why prices for essential fuels were relatively stable in these areas despite ongoing conflict and uncertainty.
