Higher Leaf Grand Re-Opening
I am thrilled to announce the Grand Re-Opening of Higher Leaf in our new bigger and better remodeled space. We are still located in the same building at 12525 Willows Road NE in Kirkland, we’ve simply shifted a few doors to the south.
The last thirteen months at Higher Leaf have been quite a journey for us as a store and for me, personally. We opened the store, in this new industry, with only a faint idea of what running a recreational retail marijuana store might be like. Over the course of the last year, we have grown and learned tremendously, along with this industry. Our staff has doubled, the range of products available to the market has grown dramatically, prices have come down, and our loyal customer base has steadily grown.
Many months ago, it became clear to us that we needed a bigger, more efficient space, not only to help the business run more smoothly, but also to help create a more comfortable customer experience. We realized we needed to create a space that simultaneously helped customers efficiently and invited customers to take the time they needed to explore our products. Our new space is much closer to this ideal and as we become more comfortable in it, we will undoubtedly continue to improve. Creating a positive customer experience is my top priority and I hope that this new space will help to achieve that goal. The process of remodeling and going through the licensing process all over again, certainly took much longer than expected, but we are so happy with the results.
One of the things that this past year has taught me, personally, is that it is important to always look for areas of improvement. None of us will ever do things perfectly, but it is always important to be moving towards a better version of ourselves and I think that has happened time and again for us at Higher Leaf, with this new store remodel, being an obvious example. Another example is our new “out the door” pricing structure and our efforts to provide a wide range of quality marijuana products to our customers. As always, we welcome any and all customer feedback at Higher Leaf.
We hope you can join us tomorrow, Thursday, March 10th at 5:30 as the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce and Kirkland’s Deputy Mayor Jay Arnold host a ribbon cutting ceremony to “officially open” our new space. Our store will, of course, be open all day for regular hours from 9:00 am - 10:00 pm, but we would love to see you during the ceremony.
