Dear <<First Name>>,
The Mission San Jose Chamber Giving Back
Washington Township Museum of Local History, like many local Mission San Jose businesses, has been challenged by COVID-19. And on top of it, some have suffered vandalism. We at the Chamber strive to maintain the beauty of our neighborhood. Pictured are Dianne Holmes and Gerry Curry from the Museum of Local History receiving a small grant from Esther Gonzalez, President of the Mission San Jose Chamber of Commerce.
HERS Breast Cancer Foundation supports individuals healing from breast cancer by providing post-surgical products and services regardless of financial status. Like many, the foundation has been challenged by COVID-19. Pictured is Tina Fernandez Steckler from HERS Breast Cancer Foundation receiving a small grant from Esther Gonzalez, President of the Mission San Jose Chamber of Commerce.
Mission San Jose Area School Libraries should have the resources to share a little of the history of Mission San Jose with their school kids. So, the Mission San Jose Chamber purchased and donated six booklets, The Story of Mission San Jose, to the school libraries at Chadbourne, Gomes, Mission Valley, Mission San Jose, Warm Springs, and Weibel. This 28-page illustrated booklet is filled with facts, information, and fascinating stories about the founding of our beloved Old Mission, day-to-day life, and visits by famous characters. Of course, at only $9.95, you may wish to order your own copy online at the Old Mission San Jose Gift Shop here.
