Association of Municipal Administrators - PEI AGM Meeting and Learning Opportunity Refresh. Learn. Connect.
If you’re a municipal administrator in PEI, the AMAPEI’s Annual General Meeting and Conference, June 21st, will be a rare opportunity for an inexpensive day of professional development. A day out of the municipal office spent with your peers from across PEI is a great way to refresh, to learn, to connect. Our line-up includes a local expert on corporate sponsorship (read “alternative revenue”), a session on the implications of the National Building Code, a presentation on ethics by a nationally acclaimed consultant/former CAO, and important updates and information from Municipal Affairs. And this year, while we munch on lunch, we’ll be treated to that incorrigible, but funny Councillor Jamie Cox.
Only $40 bucks to register. Bargain. You can send a cheque to Shari or pay at the door.
Your support for the Association of Municipal Administrators of PEI is appreciated. Hope to see you June 21st, Milton Community Hall.
Bob Ashley, President AMAPEI
Note from Shari - You can just register by sending a note to Email: firstname.lastname@example.org -Registration deadline is Tuesday, June 18. Please advise of any food issues you might have. And it is a new fiscal year now for the AMAPEI - so it is time to send in your registration information and annual fees. Membership Form
Each year, nominations for Executive Committee positions with the Association of Municipal Administrators of PEI are invited by the Nominating Committee. Nominations will be received up to and including the final call at the Annual General Meeting.
The strength of any organization lies in its members. We hope that you will consider getting involved with the Association and lend your time and talents to serving on the Executive. It is a truly rewarding experience to work together with our colleagues in helping to enhance the quality of municipal administration on the Island.
Please see the attached form which outlines the process, positions and timelines in more detail.
If you are interested in being considered for nomination to the Executive, or if you have any questions regarding the nomination process, please feel free to contact me.
