Referrer Policy

Since Chrome Version 85 introduced “privacy-enhanced default referrer policies”, some customers had increasing issues with tracking accuracy because the referrer was cut off.

We solved this problem by sending the document URL as a parameter to our Trail Application. This makes the tracking independent of referrer policy and enables advertisers to enhance their security by using stricter referrer policy settings.

Optional TCFv2.0 parameters added

As part of the upcoming TCFv2.0 support we already added two optional parameters to communicate TCF consent to the Ingenious Platform. The Trail Application accepts and stores the consent data submitted by on-page click or conversion code.

This allows you to update your on-page code ahead of future TCFv2.0 releases.

COMING UP

Support TCFv2.0 templates for publishers

  • Customization options as well as request filtering are next on our TCFv2.0 agenda. We will inform you ahead of time before the restriction becomes active.
  • Following the extension of the on-page code, we are also going to provide TCFv2.0 support to publishers by adding standard TCFv2.0 parameters with templates to the Tracking URLs in Publisher’s tracking code on UI and in Product Data Feeds.
    This will enable publishers to communicate TCFv2.0 consent to the advertisers by placeholder replacement of parameters as defined in the IAB TCFv2.0 Specification.

If you use your Ingenious platform as a public network, your partner applications to your advertisers now contain detailed Adspace and partner to judge the application before accepting it.

Advertiser Discovery

We will soon introduce the new way for your Partners to discover and manage Advertiser programs. This is again especially targeted at (but not limited to) public networks. The first beta will include:

  • More filter options allowing you to easily find what you’re looking for

  • Improved information structure that focusses on the most relevant information first allowing you to concentrate on what's important to you

  • Clean, distraction free user interface

  • Much improved performance

  • We’ve optimized the size of some of our pages. As a result you’ll experience a decrease in data consumption as well as faster loading speed in some areas.
