Already a month into the New Year, EDGE3 takes a good close look on what inspires teams to do their best work and what warms us at the core. February can sometimes be challenging; enduring the winter weather, evaluating our love life and relationships with others, and finding the momentum to continue to move us forward. It can be easy to fall in a funk and hibernate there for a while, but with a little perspective, patience, and passion, us humans can actively turn a potential meltdown into MOMENTUM!

This month on the blog, I explore a visit to a dollar store for some candid feedback from employees that provides good insights for leaders. What are people saying about you? What do you WANT them to say about you? Through my spur-of-the-moment conversations, I was able to uncover some key insights for leaders in all sectors.

Also on the blog this month, Devon shares a story about a recent visit to a children’s hospital. She drew on her interactions there to uncover simple ways we can exchange joy, and let others know we care. What could have been a very challenging visit turned out to be a lesson on how to focus on the positive, and how that can exist in our daily lives.
