UW STARTALK workshop with Lynn Johnston was absolutely amazing. Lynn has so many awesome ideas to share!
When you teach culture, you may want to use the following infographic to help students become aware of the full depth of the culture, and not just the tip of the iceberg. There are different versions available online. Please introduce the appropriate version of the Cultural Iceberg for your students.  
 

Thinking about how to connect with parents as the year starts? Many thanks to Alabama and Kansas World Language Associations for sharing! This message can be applied to ANY language. What would you add? 
 
 

You can also google infographic PowerPoints for WL teachers online. Find one that fits your classroom and share it with your students and parents.  

These  great posters of influential, strong and educated females who have made tremendous contributions to the STEM disciplines now come in 7 languages! They can be used for an engaging cross-curricular lesson/unit to promote the connections between STEM and World Languages.
