Are you taking advantage of social media marketing? Like all marketing, social media is a process of taking lots of small steps to build your presence and reputation.

Here are 3 tips to help you be more successful in your social media:


1. Do your homework.

Look at what your competitors and clients are doing on social media. What kind of conversations and industry trends do you see? This information should inform your own strategy.

2. Focus on quality, not quantity.

Yes it’s very important to be constantly visible on social media, but quality matters. Better to produce really good material less often, than lots of mediocre stuff.

3. Measure results quantitatively and anecdotally.

Determine what kind of results you are looking for and keep track. Numbers are important, but don’t discount anecdotal stories of success.
