WV Active hold weekly family swim sessions for SEND children
WV Active Central and WV Active Bilston–Bert Williams offer swim sessions for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
The weekly sessions take place as follows:-
WV Active Central Saturdays: 10.30am – 12.30 pm
WV Active Bilston–Bert Williams Saturdays: 4.30pm – 5.30 pm
Children under the age of 8 years old are free of charge and 8 to 16 year olds are free if they have a Free Swim Card. If the child does not qualify for either of these, the cost is £2 per child. The sessions are free for parents or carers.
Sessions must be booked in advance by calling 01902 551010.
Voice4Parents raised the issue of the lack of swimming sessions for disabled children and has worked with WV Active to fill this gap
Please bear with us as we recruit for a replacement for Pauline Williams who left the service last week. Recruitment is underway but we remain short staffed.

They work with young people from 16 years and upwards, and also those who have an Education, Health and Care plan. They can support with CV writing, work experience, interviews and so much more.
