Skrift presents: September's Digest

Everyone has something to say; are you willing to share?

I love to travel. I love the sights, the smells, the foods, the different customs, the colors, and the people. I love meeting and talking to people who have had radically different experiences and upbringings than me. One of the things I've loved most about participating in the Umbraco community is that I've had the opportunity to meet those types of people and swap stories. I've even met people from countries I've never heard of, and I consider my geography fairly good; I find that quite exciting.

As we're planning out the issues for the upcoming year, we've been toying with the idea of adding a map to the site with location pins to mark where our authors are writing from. The end goal, while not completely thought out yet, would be to see if we could fill it, from North to South, East to West, with authors from all walks of life sharing their unique experiences and perspectives – to bridge the gap, connect with those we might never have, and learn a fresh perspective from a different angle.

Will you help us fill that map? Will you step up and share your perspective of life or a topic you're so passionate about it keeps you up at night, or a new package or method you've developed that may help others do better at their job? The possibilities are endless, really, and the community would love to hear from you.

Check out skrift.io/write for article submission details or feel free to hit us up at hello@skrift.io to bounce ideas around. We can't wait to hear what you have to say.
