NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio has set forth, his plan to rezone communities like East Harlem to facilitate building more affordable housing. On Wednesday May 20th, residents & other stakeholders can be involved by joining in A Community Education Forum. The forum will be an opportunity for the whole community to be part of the discussion on the Neighborhood Study around the rezoning of East Harlem & the creation of new affordable housing. This forum is sponsored by Community Board 11, Community Voices Heard and co-sponsored by Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, Assembly member Robert J. Rodriguez, and State Senator Jose Serrano.
