Dear friends and faithful supporters,
Our summer camp season is in full swing and we are busier than ever. It is a challenge to keep focused on what is really important when we are bombarded with requests and sometimes demands from the camp and campers.
During these busy weeks, please keep our family and ministry in your prayers.
Praise the Lord with us, our camp team hosted the annual Pastors Convention (Jan. 5-8). Pastors and delegates from all over the country met for 3 days here at Lican Ray Bible Camp. We are thankful for God's grace to serve these men who serve Christ's Church in Chile.
Praise the Lord with us, David and German Saez, came from the capital city for a week and a half to install new lights for our main meeting hall and new lighting for our Rec Hall.
Praise the Lord with us, the flood waters receded at the camp in Uruguay where our annual missionary conference will be held. Our family will travel from the 20th to the 30th of January for a week of fellowship and meetings with our fellow GMSA co-workers. Please pray for safety on the 24 hour drive, crossing the Andes mountains into Argentina and then onto Uruguay.
Praise the Lord with us, our camp team is complete. While we are gone to missionary conference, the team will host the first family camp of the camp season. Upon our return, we will work the second family camp week, the college and career camp, and the teen camp. Please pray that God's Word would bear fruit in the hearts of the hundreds in attendance during those weeks.
Praise the Lord with us, God has provided 6 thousand of the 10 thousand dollars for the camp kitchen remodel. Many people are interested in coming to lend a hand both from Chile and overseas. Please pray that God would give us much wisdom in the planning and execution of the remodel.
We could go on and on about what God is doing here in Lican Ray. We thank the Lord for each one of you who has prayed and given to allow us to serve Him here.
