Seniors reach SFC QF

Last 16 victory over Skerries Harps

Cluain Tarbh Senior Footballers made recent history as they helped the club qualify for the Quarter Finals of the Áth Cliath Senior Football Championship for the first time since 1997. In St.Patricks ground in Donabate they took on Skerries Harps and won on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-11. Thanks to all club members who came and supported the team. A great photo gallery is available on our Fb page here/anseo. Our Senior team are sponsored this year by Member First Credit Union and are currently third in AFL2.

Féile Success

Last month Cluain Tarbh were victorious in the Féile Peil na nÓg Roinn 2 final over local neighbours St.Vincents. The final was played in Naomh Peregrines ground in Blakestown and Cluain Tarbh won out 3-5 to 0-7. This was the second year in a row to record Féile success. The boys will take part in a regional Féile event later this month.

The Famous 5

On the same day as the Féile Final, Caoimhe, Heather, Aoibhe, Niamh & Sarah were part of a historic achievement for Cluain Tarbh as all five were members of the Áth Cliath Peil na mBan U16 team that defeated An Mhí in the Leinster Final in Clane. The five cailíní are also members of the Cluain Tarbh U16 foireann that recently won the Division 1 League title.

Any singers/musicians are welcome and the U10 parents were treated to some tunes from one of their mentors last month.

#WallBall40

#WallBall40 is our new challenge on the Wall Ball at the club astro. We got off to a great start with All-Star Richie Hogan posting a great score. He has since been over taken by Cian O'Flaherty and now our GPO Stephen Behan is in the lead. We encourage all hurling and camogie players and mentors to give it a go. Winners of each category get a cool limited edition t-shirt sponsored by The Hurling Store. For more information check our webpage anseo or our Facebook page.
