Out of respect for those who are out of town for summer travel, we have decided to move the sale of general admission TEDxPasadena tickets to August 15th. If you would like to secure tickets prior that date, sponsorship packages are available. Both at the Patron and Corporate levels, these packages include the opportunity to support underserved girls between the ages of 13-18.

Please contact partners@tedxpasadena.org for more information.

For similar reasons, we are also postponing our August 21st Salon. Once a new date has been set, we will be in touch…

There are a few spots left for our July 14th Salon! Join Us!!

“Her Path to Caltech Engineering”

Join us to hear the science passion stories of three women whose paths have crossed at the Caltech Division of Engineering and Applied Science. Graduate Student Ellen Feldman Novoseller, Director of Communications Trity Pourbahrami, and Graduate Student Rachel Gehlharare are members of a dedicated community working at the leading edges of fundamental science to invent the technologies of the future. These technologies include electrode arrays that are implanted in the backs of paraplegic and quadriplegic patients to assist them in standing and walking. As well as a robotic prosthetic leg that learns from and adjusts to the human body. The event will include a tour of the Advanced Mechanical Bipedal Experimental Robotics Lab at Caltech. Cost is free. (Once in the link, click the plus sign to begin registration.)
