CP Tech staff “Road Show”




It’s been a busy quarter regarding training and outreach! From January–March 2015, CP Tech Center staff have participated in the following state chapter meetings/workshops:
  • CO/WY (presentation: center activities)
  • IA (presentations: latest concrete technologies and overlays)
  • IN (presentation: overlays)
  • MD (presentation: overlays)
  • MO/KS (presentations: center activities and pavement preservation)
  • NE (presentations: performance engineered mixtures or PEM, and overlays)
  • OK/AR (presentation: PEM)
  • PA (presentation: PEM)
  • SD (presentations: PEM and internal curing)
  • WI (presentation: PEM)
And staff have conducted the following training:
  • CA: Overlays workshop (several locations)
  • IA:  Preservation workshop (several locations)
  • ID: Inspectors workshop
  • MI:  Stringless paving workshop
  • Nova Scotia: Overlays workshop
  • NV: Overlays workshop
  • OK:  Overlays workshop, stringless paving workshop
  • SD: Overlays workshop, pavement preservation workshop
  • WI:  Joints workshop, pavement preservation workshop
In addition, during this quarter staff made presentations on concrete overlays and the CP Road Map at the Transportation Research Board and conducted 4 ACPA webinars on overlays (with one more on March 26).
