CHEERS

rodneyatkins shared some amazing news on Insta: "He’s here... Scout Falcon Atkins."
As did his fellow CURB label-mate dylanscottcountry: "Beckett loves his little sister and so does momma and daddy. Everyone meet Finley Gray. Born today, 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long! I’ve watched my wife do this twice now and she is a rockstar!!!"

ON THE HOUSE

This is in no way meant to take away from the artists who were nominated for this year's CMAs but I think it might be productive for the industry to take a step-back and look at the fact that there isn't a single nominee this year that isn't white (and ya can't count Lil Nas X since he isn't "country" according to the Billboard chart). It's like we're begging for a #CMAsSoWhite to trend. That aside, my list of "snubs" include Kane Brown, Jimmie Allen, Brett Young, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Chris Lane, Runaway June, Jake Owen, Chris Young, and Riley Green. One thing that I hope gets consideration is a way to distinguish between those at the superstar level, those in the middle, and those who are truly "new" artists. It's seems absurd that artists who are on their first single/EP/Album would have to compete with those who already have multiple #1 hits and multiple albums released.
