It's his first single in three years and it's available across all digital providers right now - check out Hunter Hayes' "Heartbreak" - saw Hunter last night at a BBQ joint in Memphis and I told him, what I'll tell you, it's great to hear new music from Hunter - this is my favorite Hunter song since "I Want Crazy"

ON THE HOUSE

FRONT OF THE HOUSE

The country music community has embarked on Memphis to participate in the 30th Anniversary of St Jude's Country Cares Seminar. This is one of the most successful radio fundraising events in the country with nearly 200 radio stations participating to help support St. Jude. The program began in 1989 when Alabama's Randy Owen addressed the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in Danny thomas' place, asking his friends in the industry to make a difference. That pioneered an unprecedented philanthropic fundraising effort that has raised more than $800 million. This is such a special partnership that brings together country music artists, industry, radio, and media. Artists' participating in today's events include Hunter Hayes, Brandon Lay, Haley & Michaels, Stephanie Quayle, Carlton Anderson, Waterloo Revival, Jordan Rager, LOCASH, Austin Burke, Noah Schnacky, Carlee Hammack, Mat Stell, Rachel Wammack, Seaforth, Jessie G, Dillon Carmichael, Logan Ashley, Brandon Radcliff, King Calaway, Brantley Gilbert & Runaway June!

TAILGATE WATCH

ON THE BAR WALL

Events like St. Jude's Country Cares Seminar here in Memphis would not be possible without the support of an amazing team working to make all of the logistics and moving parts happen. So grateful to folks like Kelly Cook & Ruth Klamper for doing what they do to make weekends like this such a success!

BUZZIN

Keep an eye out today for the release of a new song from up-and-coming artist John King called "Try Saying Goodbye" - his people sent it over to me yesterday to preview and I kind of dug it. Fun Fact about John - he's being managed by Starstuck Entertainment - the outfit that represents some of my favorite artists like Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Cale Dodds & Maggie Rose.
