Welcome to this edition of Corner News!  Here is what is happening in the life of the church for the week of July 10, 2019.

We are pleased to announce that Peter Nelson is our new Director of Music!

I would like to invite you to a Townhall meeting to talk about changes to our constitution that our Elders are recommending at our annual business meeting held in September. These changes are very significant and help us continue to be a part of the movement of God called the Evangelical Free Church of America. You will be able to receive a packet of information detailing these changes on Sunday morning. I hope to answer questions and allay any concerns related to these changes at T
ownhall meetings the annual meeting because discussion during the annual meeting will be limited and we would like to address all your questions. Members will receive  a separate email with more information this week end. Please join me in prayer as we desire to  bring clarity to the need for and direction of these changes.
There will be two Townhall meetings: Thursday, July 18 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM, and Tuesday, August 6 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at church.
Thank you for your investment in God’s kingdom here at Cornerstone.
By faith in Jesus,
Pastor Manny

Women

As women ministering to women, we want to inspire each other to grow in our desire to love and serve the Lord Jesus in the way that He has uniquely created us, equip each other through the study of God’s Word to live in obedience to Him, and spread the good news of Jesus’ saving grace to those with whom we interact, as well as deepen our community within Cornerstone as we grow in unity.

Ministry Enhancement Plan
Ministry Enhancement Plan

How Does The Ministry Enhancement Fit Into Our 3-Year Vision?
Cornerstone, in the next three years, will create a culture that inspires Christ-like believers whose lives reveal God’s goodness and equips mature leaders who multiply to impact our community and beyond. We will strive to develop strong leadership while further equipping our saints for the works of service. Our ministry enhancements are tools that will assist us in our journey to disciple our own and reach the lost. We want to utilize our facility in the most efficient manner. Repurposing rooms helps people make better connections. Additionally, an expanded foyer encourages people to make personal connections within the congregation. First-time visitors and newcomers will have a welcoming atmosphere to meet others.
For complete information and to participate in the Ministry Enhancement Plan with your much-appreciated donation, please visit the Cornerstone Website and click on Give/Building Fund. Please note that giving envelopes labeled "Ministry Enhancement - Building Fund" are available and may be found inside the friendship folder in the Worship Center pews or at the Welcome Center.
