Greetings  <<First Name>>,

Hope your year is progressing well. I have enjoyed the heck out of the first three months this year teaching workshops in Scottsdale, San Diego and Tucson. Teaching in San Diego for the San Diego Watercolor Society I also had the privilege of demonstrating at their monthly meeting. If you are a member of SDWS you can log in and view a video of that demonstration in the Members area on their website. You can see the painting below under Recent Paintings. It was finished in the studio and titled, Barrier Anxiety.

In Tucson the Contemporary Artists of Southern Arizona (CASA) took me out to dinner and to the Tucson Museum of art where an exhibit of contemporary Cuban artists was on display. Also snapped a shot of a large Fritz Scholder.

All of the workshops were loaded with talented students and I know everyone one of them took a little something away. Just ask one of them. I'm not bragging, it's the truth. Anyone who has taken the Freedom in Watermedia Workshop can tell you they were given one of my color sketches just for taking the workshop. A simple perk to jog the memory of things transpired.

In February I met up with print buddies, Carole Matthews and Marty Gibson for a printmaking day at Carole's studio. Jean Rossman was cleaning up storm damage and Hank Keneally was in San Francisco attending the opening of his one man show, otherwise both would have been there. Below, I've included a few of the prints I made.
