Happy Feast of the Dedication of the Basilica of St. Mary Major in Rome (Our Lady of the Snows)

Today, when we celebrate the first Basilica dedicated to the Virgin Mary (Santa Maria Maggiore), Mater Dei Tours® would like to ask you a few questions:

Do you desire to witness a true miracle?
Are you being called to see the true face of Mary?

Am I not here, Who Am your Mother?
This is the comforting question Our Lady asked St. Juan Diego, and today She asks us the same question: Am I not here, Who Am your mother?   At Mater Dei, we love to meditate on these motherly words from Our Blessed Mother! If you ever wanted to witness a true, living and ongoing miracle, or if you ever wanted to see the true face of the Virgin Mary...
Then prayerfully consider joining our pilgrimage to Mexico

WHY is MEXICO the BEST place to travel now?

  1. Mexico does not require a vaccine certificate or a negative covid test (you will need one for the return to the USA - provided during the trip).
  2. It is the most convenient place to travel with short non-stop options from many major cities in the USA! No major time zone difference means no jet lag!
  3. Mexico's weather in November is 72°F during the day, and around 47°F at night. It is a perfect escape from the cold temperatures in some areas of the USA!
  4. Mexico's hospitality is superb! And so is it's food and rich culture!

It would be very good to organize this every year for the Seminary. Thank you so much, one and all. The pilgrimage was a very blessed opportunity! I learned so much about Our Lady of Guadalupe. I didn’t know much before, but I have definitely increased my devotion to and appreciation for Our Lady. I look forward to more pilgrimages with Mater Dei. - Tyler - St. Paul, MN
