Leaving San Jose at 5am on 2nd Feb - the kids were in there somewhere!
We have safely arrived in Managua!
It was a long fourteen and a half hour journey from San Jose to Managua and we spent a lot of time at the border where we had to unload all of our boxes and bags and then reload them again but Praise God we got everything through and didn't have any unexpected problems or costs or issues with our new passports that had replaced the ones which were stolen in August (and therefore had no stamps in them!).
We have got temporary accommodation for a month whilst we spend time looking for a more permanent home. We are also starting to look for a car - pray we find the right one at the right price. This will be the first car Rob has ever owned so it's quite a new experience!
We are visiting the children's school today and hoping they will start on Monday. Please pray for them as they start another new school and make more new friends.
As some of you know we had some issues getting our main newsletter out this month; if you haven't already seen it via our social media post, you can find the link to it on our website here to hear about our graduation from language school and Rob's first project trip with EMI working on the design of a new ministry centre and refuge for victims of abuse.
