Dear Friends

Season's greetings!
As we come to the end of 2016 we look back on a year full of memories and eagerly await our 2017 safaris.

2016 was a great season with several amazing safaris in southern Africa.  We had awesome people and countless incredible experiences on all our small group safaris. Our guests on tailor-made fly-in safaris to Botswana, Kenya and South Africa all returned glowing feedback.

Can't wait to do it all again in 2017 with safaris planned in Southern and East Africa - read on for more details and for photo highlights from 2016.

Safari highlights from 2016
So many highlights but some of the most memorable wildlife experiences were watching herds of elephants playing, drinking and mud-bathing in the waterholes and rivers; African wild dogs with pups at their den; leopards in trees, the bush and riverbeds and even one chasing a porcupine!; sitting around the campfire listening to lions roaring; observing hyena cubs at their den; massive herds of zebra on the move; flocks of flamingoes and hippos on boat trips; lions and hyenas chasing each other at a buffalo kill; a cheetah mother and cubs trying to reclaim a carcass from vultures; and of course all the stunning birds.  Here are a few photos from this year's safaris.
