Welcome to the
Y20 Community
Join this inspired community of global leaders
Hello 👋
Welcome to the Y20 Community! In 2020, the Y20 celebrates a milestone - our 10th Anniversary. We are honored to recognize you as a valuable member of this community. We, the Y20 Host, Saudi Arabia, are also excited to launch this special initiative: Y20 Community.

Y20 Community is an ongoing peer-support community of Y20 Alumni and current organizers and delegates. This platform provides a structure for deeper dialogue with Y20 delegate and organizer alumni on the key Y20 topics for 2020 including:
  • Future Fit: preparing for the future of work and entrepreneurship
  • Global Citizenship: promoting proactive, culturally sensitive problem solvers
  • Youth Empowerment: developing agile and dynamic future leaders

This year, the world is at an urgent crossroad: societies are being transformed in their reactions to COVID-19 and young people are facing the pandemic's consequences in education, employment, and health. More than ever, the world’s youth need to have a voice with global policy leaders. We would love to get your thoughts on: What’s the post-Covid19 new normal for youth worldwide?

The Y20 Community is also excited to present the Youth Priorities Initiative (YPI): a program inviting youth around the world to participate in Y20 2020. Check out our open call for videos and stay tuned for the talk shows coming soon!

Thank you for being an active member of our Y20 Community and a big thank you to everyone who participated in the Reunion on August 20! It was great to “meet” so many of you. Remember to register for the Impulse Session on Thursday, September 10!

Highlights from the Reunion included diverse participation from the Y20, remarks from the Y20 Chair, and inspirational words from Tatiana Podliszewski from Argentina, who served as Y20 2018 Executive Director, and Ahmad AlHendawi, the 10th Secretary-General of the World Organization of the Scout Movement and the former United Nations Secretary General’s Envoy on Youth. Y20’s remarkable alumni and organizers, now a network of more than 600 strong, have advanced social impact in their local and global communities. Y20 alumni and organizers are distinguished leaders selected for their commitment to amplifying youth voices through policy work. We invite you to get to know the Y20 Community through these featured profiles.
