Governor Pence Proclaims April 3-9 as Adult Learn to Swim Week
For the past several years, the Swimming Saves Lives Foundation has declared the month of April to be "Adult Learn to Swim Month" to coincide with when pools, lakes, and beaches are starting to open. This year, Indiana Governor Michael R. Pence has proclaimed the 1st week in April as Adult Learn to Swim Week. Learn more about why this is such an important initiative and how you can become involved on GRIN's Swimming Saves Lives page. Links are provided to both free and paid lesson programs if you know an adult who needs to learn to swim. Drowning is preventable and it is NEVER TOO LATE to learn to swim.
